We’re looking for a Semi-Senior / Senior Accountant to join a growing firm based in Spalding.
This is a great opportunity if you’re looking to take on more client responsibility and mentor junior members of the team, all while working in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Preparing management accounts and VAT returns
- Handling Corporation Tax and Income Tax returns
- Using cloud accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero – training provided if needed)
- Dealing with client queries and providing advice when needed
- Supporting and mentoring trainees in the team
What they’re looking for:
- Someone who’s AAT qualified with practice experience
- Ideally studying or interested in studying ACCA or ACA
- Great attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- A genuine interest in supporting clients and helping others develop
