A newly created position where you’ll work closely with the Chief Accountant identifying internal training requirements within financial accounting requirements of the business designing, developing, and delivering training sessions to employees.

This is a varied yet challenging role, which creates a nice balance between the two. `

Below is a small overview of the role…

  • Act as a mentor/support to our employees who are studying for their professional qualifications i.e. AAT, CIMA/ACCA through apprenticeship schemes.
  • Be an expert on financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Research, develop, document, and implement best practices in financial management, accounting, and reporting to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing financial processes, develop and implement solutions to streamline workflows and increase productivity.
  • Support internal reviews of financial processes and adherence to best practices.
  • Identify shortfalls and risks and provide feedback to relevant departments to ensure resolution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operational processes to understand their financial needs.
