Unlike some larger firms, where clients may deal with several different departments, this business focuses on providing a dedicated adviser who works closely with clients over the long term.
This is a business that has successfully navigated multiple market cycles, from the market boom and crash of the 1980s, through the 2008 financial crisis and Covid.
There’s also a generous bonus structure, with an OTE of around £100,000 potentially achievable within your first year.
In terms of your background, you’ll need to have achieved the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, along with at least five years’ relevant experience.
Below is a small overview of what you’ll be doing…
- Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and recommending suitable, tailored solutions.
- Proactively use cashflow modelling software to present and explain planning outcomes in a clear, client-friendly way.
- Manage your own client portfolio, including regular reviews, ongoing advice and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities, including referrals from existing clients and networking.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of market developments, legislation, and FCA/Openwork guidance.
