This is a Payroll position with a twist…
Due to the Payroll Manager retiring, the company is looking at recruiting a Payroll Supervisor to oversee a team of two and to head up the Payroll Department.
As the client base currently stands at around 400, around 350 of these are single Director companies and the remaining 50, are SME’s that need a mixture of weekly and monthly payrolls.
You’ll find that this role does not have the same pressures as most firms of Accountants and there is plenty of resource to service the clients.
Because of this, we have the option to recruit several ways.
Here’s the twist…
We can recruit this position on a full time permanent basis but you will want to take on additional responsibilities to fill your time, the company has suggested that the two areas could be either Bookkeeping for their clients or perhaps talking responsibility for their internal IT. (Nothing too technical, just being the go-to person and who will coordinate with their external provider)
If you are looking to fit a role around childcare and a part-time position is more suitable, then this can be purely a Payroll Supervisor position without the other bits.
There is a lot of flexibility here.
