This is a newly created role to work closely with the MD and part-time FD.
It’s not very often that roles like this are created but you’ll get to manage the Accounts function and shape your role within the business.
This will give you a blank sheet to structure your day-to-day and give you huge amounts of autonomy as you work with the Managing Director with full visibility within the team.
The role itself will be incredibly varied and there is lots to do … You’ll find that you can focus on the quick wins to begin with and there will be plenty of support from their Finance Director who will be on-hand to help while you get up to speed.
Day to day, you will be covering the below, but as things develop, you can imagine that it will evolve…
– Calculating hours and updating payroll and completing payments online inc. pensions.
– Entering in the purchase and sales ledgers.
– Preparing monthly P&L Reports and updating our internal cash flow and growth sheets.
– Management Accounts.
You definitely won’t have the same day two days in a row.
